There are many benefits to be derived from attaining a Bachelors degree. Research has shown that holders of a degree tend to earn more than those who don't have a degree. In fact a study done by the US Census Bureau showed that persons with a degree earns an average of 43 percent more than someone without one over the course of a lifetime. The Big Payoff: Educational Attainment and Synthetic Estimates of Work-Life Earnings.
In addition to the obvious financial benefits of earning a degree, there are also non monetary benefits to degree holders. Degree holders tend to hold higher quality jobs leading to a career rather than less fulfilling positions. The children of degree holders also benefit from their parents' academic achievement from greater parental involvement in their education. Overall graduates, tend to be a source of innovation and contribute to economic growth.
Job advertisements do not typically specify the award title but instead ask for a qualification in Business or Business related. Employers do not ask for a specific degree title. This Business Administration degree from UH has an international focus, and would enable the students to gain employment for any business from the small enterprise to the large multinational.
Except for specialist departments (such as accounting and finance) graduates are employed because of their employability skills, their understanding of Business issues and ability to learn (demonstrated by their completion of a University degree and classification). Therefore a Business Administration degree would not make you less employable than a Business Management Degree.

"I returned to the academic classroom after an absence of more than 20 years and I earned my B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire. The University of Hertfordshire and CTS College in Trinidad and Tobago have earned my admiration.
The University of Hertfordshire provided a well-planned course of study with supporting e-learning platforms such as Studynet which was invaluable to mature, working students like myself. Studynet is where all course outlines, teaching notes, reading materials and assessment and examination time tables are posted. Equally supportive were the lecturers and administrative staff at the CTSCBCS College. Lecturers went the extra mile by sending reminders and facilitating tutorials to ensure that students met and surpassed the University’s requirements.
CTS College also contributed to a good environment by having study rooms set with security, parking facilities and much needed photocopiers. The most important lesson learnt was organization and management of time, and effective collaboration with team members. The course of study was hectic but with organization, I managed to successfully complete with an Upper Second Class degree in Business Administration."
Pamela Coa-White - Class of 2011
"CTS College fosters holistic learning and development!!! The school’s student support systems are second to none. The Bachelor of Business Administration program from the University of Hertfordshire provides students with a blend of theoretical as well as practical learning that can be easily transferred to the work environment."
