Purpose:
The purpose of the CPCM course is to prepare candidates for leading roles in the procurement and sourcing functions within supply chain management.
Scope:
The CPCM course is an excellent choice for an introduction to the fundamental principles in procurement, including an overview of contract and supply chain management. With the expanding role of supply chain management in global trade, careers in procurement, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and logistics are gaining prominence. The course consists of four distinct modules including Introduction, Planning, Inventory Management and Logistics. The final module covers Procurement, Productivity and Customer Service.

The CPCM training is intended for people who wish to acquire a deeper understanding of the procurement process, including contracts.
The Certificate in Procurement and Contract Management course has been developed following the ADDIE methodology of curriculum development. BRASI’s Programme Advisory Group (BRASI PAG) is responsible for the development, assessment, and continuous improvement of BRASI’s training programmes, following the guidelines contained in the standard ASTM E-2659.

Certificate in Procurement and Contract Management is a self-paced online training course and can be started at any time.
Students would gain 24/7 online access to self-paced learning modules and tests through the BRASI Learning Management System.

Note: Live Q&A sessions are held to answer any specific questions and explain key concepts as needed. Participation in the Q&A sessions is optional and is not taken into account for the passing score.
Students would be required to take a final assessment after completing the course review.
In order to receive the certificate for this course students must obtain a minimum score of 70% in the final assessment. Certificates for all of the BRASI courses are issued centrally by BRASI and are downloadable.
Each BRASI certificate carries a unique ID for verification, and is valid for life.
Note: A CPCM Certificate holder has a basic understanding of the various processes and calculations used in procurement and is able to conduct and support the related functions.
