QuITE Awards 2011/2012

In November of 2011, CTS College was nominated for participation in ACTT’s QuITE (Quality in Tertiary Education) awards. The College walked away with 2nd place in Student Support Services in Tertiary Education. The significance of this award cannot be understated as we beat the likes of UTT, UWI, COSTAATT and all other private Tertiary Level Institutions (TLIs). It should be noted that CTS College was the only private TLI to have won an award, therefore the victory was not just ours, but for all private TLIs. The awards function was held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) on November 18th, 2011 and was hosted to institutions which demonstrated excellence in the implementation of Quality Management Systems, Student Support Services and Institutional Research Capacity.

CTS College was prominently featured at the awards function which was hosted in conjunction with ACTT’s 1st National Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the theme “Promoting a Culture of Quality through Continuous Improvement of the Higher Education Sector”. Since our inception in 1999 CTS College has always valued our students and we always strive to provide education beyond academics. Throughout the years we have partnered with our many stakeholders including students, lecturers, ACTT and our staff to ensure quality education was being delivered. This achievement is certainly a rewarding and humbling experience, it is a significant milestone in the life of CTS College.

As CTS College look towards the future, this milestone and achievement serves as a humble reminder that you (our students) are our greatest asset and that the college takes pride in developing the minds of today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.
