Train the Trainer

The Fundamentals of Video Editing

Overview

The Train the Trainer course at CTS College is strategically developed to meet the evolving needs of organizations seeking greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness in their training processes. Recognizing the value of leveraging internal expertise, this program focuses on training trainers within the organization, transforming subject matter experts (SMEs) into skilled trainers, presenters, and facilitators. Participants undergo a comprehensive learning experience covering essential concepts such as understanding the audience, learning theories, motivation, memory, and cognitive load theory.

The course emphasizes the importance of effective communication, encompassing verbal, non-verbal and graphic elements, while also introducing the critical aspects of lesson planning, objective writing and the "Nine Events of Instruction." Moreover, the program underscores the significance of incorporating evaluations into training, offering participants insights into various evaluation levels based on the desired learning outcomes.

In response to the changing landscape of training, the Train the Trainer course is forward-thinking, preparing trainers for the next level of hybrid training.
