Salina Ali

"When I create a video it's like I'm giving the audience a piece of myself."

My love for the media was cultivated at a very young age. As a child I would sit with my father and watch wrestling videos, he would turn the sound off and I would provide the commentary. It was during these moments I realized that I wanted to be an Announcer.

However, while I was pursuing Diploma in Media and Communication I discovered Editing. Editing has not only enhanced my professional career but has also had a profound effect on my personal life. I now view the world through the eyes of an artist, finding inspiration in almost every facet of everyday life. It has taught me to think outside the box, enhanced my problem solving skills, and has given me the courage to challenge myself to attempt new and exciting editing techniques.

I am an introvert by nature and editing has allowed me to share pieces of myself, my thoughts and feelings with thousands of people without uttering a single word.
