SharePoint sites are the building blocks of the platform, facilitating the creation, organisation and management of content, enabling users to collaborate and share information seamlessly. Learn about Hub sites, Team Sites, Communication sites and more.

3: Configuration of Site Search Settings

Involves customising how content is indexed and retrieved, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of search results. This includes setting up search scopes, managed properties and search refiners to improve user experience.

4: Introduction to SharePoint Site Collection

Understanding how site collection provides a structured way to organise and manage related sites, enabling centralised administration and consistent policy enforcement.

5: Introduction to SharePoint Document Management

Learn how to organise, store and control access to documents within the platform. Learn version control and co-authoring features, enhancing collaboration and ensuring document integrity.

6: SharePoint Document Libraries and Permissions (Unique Permissions, Sharing permissions and Security Trimming)

Learn about specialised lists for storing and managing documents. Learn and configure permissions in SharePoint at various levels, including unique permissions for individual documents, sharing permissions for collaboration and security trimming to ensure users only see content they are authorised to access.

7: Introduction to Workflows and Automation & Integration

This course will be delivered via live online classes. Students will be provided with a link to join the class as well as other relevant instructions at least one day before the start of each class. These classes are also recorded - therefore students have the option to review the course content as often as they like.

Certification

In order to receive the CTS College certificate of completion or participation for this course, students must attend a minimum of 75% of classes and pay any outstanding fees. Where applicable, students who do not meet the necessary assessment requirements, but attended the required amount of classes would receive a CTS College certificate of participation.

With over 7 years’ experience in the IT field, Mr. Damian Felix has honed his technical skills from gaining extensive experience in working with Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, thus helping streamline business processes whilst providing management with strategic decision-making capabilities. Mr. Felix also has extensive experience in application development, management and administration, in addition to possessing expertise regarding Microsoft’s Power Platform and SharePoint’s integrative role in building, analysing, and automating business processes across organisations.

Currently an Information Technology Business Analyst, with a background in Computer, Network and Telecommunications Engineering, Damian also possesses a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology and an MBA with a specialisation in the field of Digital Technology Management. Damian is responsible for not only managing the use of digital technology and technological platforms from an organisational standpoint, but also leads digital transformation through building, overseeing and introducing new technological solutions.
