The Art of Soap Making course teaches the art of crafting soap from scratch. It typically covers basic techniques, including selecting ingredients, measuring, mixing and pouring. Participants would learn about various types of soap bases like cold process, hot process and melt-and-pour.
The course includes instructions on incorporating essential oils, fragrances and colorants to customise soap. Safety is also a key focus, as handling chemicals requires proper precautions. Students gain hands-on experience by creating their own soap bars, learning troubleshooting tips and discovering packaging and storage methods. By the end of the course, they would be equipped to make personalised, high-quality soap at home.

This course will be delivered via face-to-face classes. As such, students who have enrolled in the course would be expected to attend the classes at the designated location.
Students would be required to complete the following assessment(s) for this course:
Bonus: Students leave with four soaps created, two silicone molds (to start a business or practice) and a manual.
In order to receive the CTS College certificate of completion or participation for this course, students must attend a minimum of 75% of classes and pay any outstanding fees. Where applicable, students who do not meet the necessary assessment requirements, but attended the required number of classes would receive a CTS College certificate of participation.
