For example, we have replaced notebooks with One Note and our alarm clocks with a cellphone alarm that tells you the weather as you wake such as Android’s helper, Bixby. Similarly, tablets have become integral for meetings, school and even recreation. However, what happens if your phone falls and the screen breaks? Further, if you lost all your contacts and presentations that you had stored on your apps. A useful skill to attain would be to have the knowledge and expertise in repairing your own device. This Smart Phone and Tablet Repair training will equip you with the tools, general competency and hands on experience to give you the confidence to repair most smart phones manufactured today. Further, you can use this skill to create an additional or mainstream income for yourself, being that majority of the population would require your services at some point in time to facilitate the repair of their devices.
This instructor-led course aims to provide candidates with an overview of the full process of repairing a smart phone and tablet. The course is suited for individuals that have had no prior knowledge about tablets or smart phone repairs. This course will focus on physical and liquid damage, and how these damages can be repaired. Whether it be for personal usage or to craft yourself an extra income, this course can be beneficial to you.

This course can therefore act as an entry point into a desired career in Smart Phone Repair. You will be certified at the end of the course, and have a practical knowledge of the process. There will be no formal exam or assessment for this course. Students will receive a certification of completion.
No books will be required for this course. All handouts and additional resources will be provided by CTS College.

Gerardé is the owner of iRas (Intelligent Repairs and Services) - a leader in Mobile Repairs (Cellphones and Tablets). Gerarde has over twelve years of practical experience in the field of mobile repairs, specifically hardware and software repairs. Network unlocking, charging port replacement and LCD (screen) replacements/repairs are some of the many skills and services on Gerarde’s portfolio. He is an expert in repairing and servicing many different types of mobile devices including iPhones, iPads, Samsung phones/tablets, as well as a variety of other top brands.
