Mastering Media - Traditional and Social

Overview

MASTERING MEDIA

As the media and communication sector becomes ever more diverse and dynamic, jobs in the field of media are also growing in popularity. Did you have your own blog, Twitter account and Pinterest board before most people even knew what those words meant? Are you fascinated by the way a news story gains momentum, an image or video goes viral, or the whole process that goes into getting an idea from script to screen? If any of these applies to you, then you are heading in the right direction for Mastering Media.

In today’s media-dominated cultural landscape, media has become one of the most relevant, exciting and powerful subjects you could choose to study. Mastering Media teaches students about media channels, where students learn about traditional (radio, television) and modern mass-media (social networks, vlogs). Our classes also focus on building your personal brand and self-image using common place social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok and of course, Instagram and Facebook.
