The youngest member of the CTS academic staff, Alaina began her academic journey at CTS in ABE Level 4 in 2012. In 2015, she graduated from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program with a specialization in Human Resource Management. In 2017, she was one of the top 5 youngest to complete her MBA with a specialization of Entrepreneurial Management. During the programs, she contributed to student life through assisting fellow classmates with their studying. Often, Mr. Ravi Ragoonath would have received an email from her with suggestions to further assist CTS in showcasing 'where education is beyond academics'. Her suggestions were centered around various aspects of CTS life that she would have attended or partook in, such as sports day to short courses such as Occupational Health and Safety. Her aspirations included having a career in CTS, which became a reality in September 2015.

She has been part of the Student Council, representing the BBA programme and then became part of the revamped Social Events Committee in 2015. She would have contributed to holding events for the student body such as The Haunted House and Movie Night, Game Night and Lip Sync Battle and Career Fairs. She will be the one to offer you a treat if you visit her office, make you coffee if you are stressed and then plan your course of study. Alaina is known by her students for staying up late at night to ensure that they submit their assessments on time and for convincing them that no matter what they are going through, the programme is “doable”.

As a member of staff, she is considered the baby, as she is the youngest. She enjoys spending time at CTS and considers staff like family. She enjoys expanding her knowledge base through reading and learning through experiences. If you have questions for her, do not hesitate to ask!
