The youngest member of the CTS academic staff, Alaina began her academic journey at CTS in ABE Level 4 in 2012. In 2015, she graduated from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program with a specialization in Human Resource Management. In 2017, she was one of the top 5 youngest to complete her MBA with a specialization of Entrepreneurial Management. During the programs, she contributed to student life through assisting fellow classmates with their studying. Often, Mr. Ravi Ragoonath would have received an email from her with suggestions to further assist CTS in showcasing 'where education is beyond academics'. Her suggestions were centered around various aspects of CTS life that she would have attended or partook in, such as sports day to short courses such as Occupational Health and Safety. Her aspirations included having a career in CTS, which became a reality in September 2015.
Meet Jude! The blunt, realistic and self-motivated Programme Manager for the Bachelor of Art in Business Administration (BABA) programme. His journey at CTS College started in 2009 as a student in the University of Hertfordshire's BSc Computer Science programme. Jude is certainly not your stereotypical student. Like him or hate him, you couldn't help but laugh at some of Jude's comments. Jude is possibly the most diverse individual you might meet – a scholarly student, an athlete (100m), a saxophonist (no Kenny G here), can speak multiple languages, a wonderful cook, a hunter, a skydiver and an entrepreneur.
Every organization needs a Jude! Jude is never shy of taking on new challenges, he never complaints about additional work and easily goes beyond the call of duty to support his students and exceed the expectations of his employer.
Narine Neeranjan is the Association of Business Executives (ABE) programme manager at CTS College. He has held this position for the last five years at the college and has played a vital role in ensuring its continued success. Mr. Neeranjan is also a lecturer at CTS College following his dream of going beyond his role of a manager to better serve his students of the ABE programme. He is also the Secretary of an active sports and cultural club, Chairman of CTS College Social Events Committee and a role model in his community.
Mr. Neeranjan started his journey at CTS College as a student of the University of Hertfordshire's BSc Computer Science programme in 2009 from which he graduated with first class honours.
Meet Ravi, the MBA Programme Manager and Quality Assurance Manager at CTS College of Business and Computer Science. Ravi first started CTS College as a student way back in 2005 when he enrolled in one of the short courses, since then his love affair with the college began and in 2009 he won a full scholarship to pursue his BSc. in Computer Science. In 2010 Ravi started working part time at CTS College and two years after with the increasing enrolments and success of the MBA programme he officially came on board and started working full time at the college.
The self-proclaimed king of fish broth, Ravi can cook only two things, fish and broth. The secret to a good fish broth says the iron chef wannabe is using the right seasoning at the right time!
Matthew has been a member of CTS College for over 8 years. He is known for his work as an independent contractor under the name Complete Stationary Solutions. Through CSS, he has provided services to the students, lecturers and academic team. He is currently a student of ABE, investing his time in assisting students for which he is passionate about while finding creative solutions to their trails in the various programmes.
To anyone that asks, Matthew would state that he adores the family-oriented culture that CTS has always strived on. Throughout his journey with the IT and Business Short Courses, he aims to perpetuate the culture onto the newer students.
Rama was instrumental in establishing the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) courses at CTS College, therefore it was only natural that he was made the DIY Programme Manager. Rama has a passion for the practical, he loves doing and fixing things around the house and enjoys the idea of being the ‘handyman’. His current and past experiences have been strongly tied to technical and vocational skills and he marries this with his love for teaching business. Rama has been a faculty member of CTS for several years where he has taught various subjects in Business and Marketing in the ABE programme. His willingness to go beyond the call to support student landed him a spot on our coveted “Wall of Fame”. Rama, along with Matthew, started off a Student Support Services group at CTS College, whereby they provided, free of charge, support for students with learning challenges who needed a greater level of individual support in their studies. They also encouraged other students to provide peer support as well.
