CTS College: Accomplishments

CTS College, Experience Beyond Academics

Since our inception in 1999 CTS has always valued our students and strive to provide an experience beyond academics. Throughout the years we have partnered with students, lecturers, staff, partner institutions and ACTT to ensure quality education was delivered, and while doing so, accomplishing quite a few feats along the way. These accomplishments have cemented our place in the tertiary education sector as an institution that is student centered and quality driven. It is testament to our consistent performance and a true reflection of what we stand for and strive to achieve at CTS College, where the experience is beyond the academics..

It serves as a humble reminder that our students are our greatest asset and the awards received would not have been possible without them.

Debate Champions

CTS College was crowned the Debate Titans 2017 on November 2nd of that year after winning the finals of the debate competition organised by The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC).

The motion debated was "Be it resolved that in the interest of investor protection the TTSEC's regulatory focus should be on enforcement." CTS College argued for the motion while the other finalist argued against. The battle was shrill, the debate was passionate, patriotism surrounded the atmosphere, articulation and wit filled the podiums and in the end when the smoke cleared, the CTS College debate team emerged victorious!

CTS College was duly represented by Suzette Matterson, Rachael Collymore and Richard Barbour.

The winners received $3000 each to invest in the stock market, courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, Fire HD 8" Tablets, Medals and Certificates of Participation. CTS College received the Challenge and Champion Trophies. Each participant also received a Certificate of Participation.

CTS College was also a finalist in the Tertiary Level Debates Competition hosted by the Integrity Commission of Trinidad and Tobago in 2016.
